• • Partner with federal business analysts, security officers, and DevOps engineers to translate evolving policy changes into technical requirements, delivering releases on aggressive two-week federal sprint cycles.
• • Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents, leveraging IDMS journals, SYSUDUMP, and SMF records to restore service within SLA windows and prevent recurrence.
• • Design and execute data-migration scripts for large-scale database reorganizations, coordinating cut-over windows that minimize downtime for nationwide users.
• • Implement modern CI/CD practices within a mainframe context—integrating Changeman, Jenkins, and SonarQube—so every COBOL check-in is automatically built, unit-tested, and scanned for vulnerabilities.
• • Mentor junior developers and new graduates through pair-programming sessions and brown-bag lunches, raising the collective technical bar while preserving decades of institutional knowledge.
