- • As a Scrum Master supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services - Cloud Products & Tools (CMS - CPT), you will play a critical role in enabling software development teams to deliver value through Agile practices, directly contributing to streamlined asset management, compliance, and optimized IT costs for a vital government mission.
- • Day to day, you will facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives; maintain JIRA and information radiators; mentor team members on Agile principles; identify and resolve impediments; track KPIs via dashboards; collaborate with Product Management on backlog grooming and release planning; and foster a safe, self-organizing team environment focused on continuous improvement.
- • You will join General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT), a global technology and professional services provider supporting U.S. government agencies with expertise in digital modernization, AI/ML, Cloud, Cyber, and application development, where people are central to mission success and innovation.
- • In this role, you will develop advanced facilitation and coaching skills, deepen your expertise in enterprise-scale Agile transformations, strengthen stakeholder and vendor collaboration abilities, and grow your impact by enabling measurable improvements in team performance, transparency, and delivery predictability.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, training, or work experience
- • At least 1+ years of experience in an Agile development environment
- • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile project management certification
- • Expertise in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or ServiceNow Agile
- • Experience with software development or working in a software development organization
- • Ability to manage multiple projects and thrive in a high-tempo environment requiring multitasking
