- • As a Collections Analyst at Wayflyer Limited, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the company’s financial health by managing delinquent accounts and ensuring timely recovery of receivables across key markets including Germany, the USA, Australia, and the UK. Your work directly supports Wayflyer’s mission to empower growing businesses by maintaining a healthy portfolio and minimizing credit risk, enabling the company to continue providing fast, flexible financing to SMBs worldwide.
- • On a day-to-day basis, you will manage delinquent accounts with sensitivity and professionalism, implementing revised payment structures and pursuing legal strategies when necessary; lead customer calls to build relationships and secure optimal outcomes; oversee the full debt collection lifecycle in Germany (Inkassoverfahren), including claim validation, demand letter preparation, and case closure; monitor outstanding receivables across core geographies and analyze payment objections or obstacles with empathy and precision; prepare and send demand letters and reminders; quantify and assess risks affecting the Wayflyer portfolio to inform decision-making; monitor and evaluate customer performance within the portfolio; collaborate with analytics and operations teams to develop tools that improve reporting quality and deliver actionable insights; work closely with management to refine existing processes and implement new initiatives; and serve as the primary point of contact for external service providers, legal advisors, and German authorities on all debt collection matters.
- • You will join a dynamic, cross-functional team at Wayflyer, where collaboration spans global offices in Dublin, London, Sydney, Charlotte, and remote hubs across Europe and the US. - • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in international debt collection, financial risk analysis, and cross-border receivables management while gaining exposure to high-growth eCommerce businesses and fintech innovation. You’ll develop advanced skills in stakeholder management, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making, positioning yourself for growth into senior collections, risk, or operations roles within Wayflyer or the broader financial services sector.
🎯 Requirements
- • University degree in law or another relevant field, coupled with successful completion of the official German debt collection examination (Inkasso-Sachkundelehrgang)
- • Minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in law, debt collection, insolvency administration, or a closely related field
- • Fluency in both German and English is required for effective communication with customers, legal entities, and internal teams
