Collections Manager

📋 Description

• • Manage a team of Collections Associates for Fresh Prints Inc., a fast-growing NYC-based custom apparel startup that partners with students to build campus apparel businesses. As Collections Manager, you will lead the receivables function, ensuring strong cash flow discipline and revenue realization across the organization.
• • Day to day, you will lead and manage a team of 2–5 Collections Associates, own end-to-end collections operations including inbound/outbound follow-ups, payment tracking, and dispute resolution, drive improvements in collections efficiency, recovery rates, and invoice turnaround time, set and track team performance metrics, manage customer and vendor communication for payment recovery, handle escalations and complex cases, build and refine collections workflows and SOPs, collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Operations, and ensure accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of collections data.
• • Fresh Prints is a New York-based custom-printed apparel startup that empowers student entrepreneurs with capital, training, and support to launch apparel businesses on their campuses. The Finance team oversees all cash inflows and outflows, and this role sits at the core of maintaining financial health through disciplined receivables management.
• • In this role, you will develop leadership and operational expertise in financial operations, gain experience scaling collections processes in a high-growth environment, strengthen data-driven decision-making through metrics and dashboards, and build cross-functional collaboration skills while directly impacting company cash flow and revenue realization.
