Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as the trusted voice of Colonial Penn, guiding seniors aged 50-85 through the life-insurance decisions that protect their loved ones and preserve their legacies. Every conversation you have—whether inbound or outbound—directly shapes the financial security of thousands of families across the United States.
  • • Own a full-cycle consultative sales process that begins with warm leads delivered daily (2025 YTD averages: 212 outbound calls, 734 web inquiries, 309 upgrades) and ends with a policy that fits each customer’s budget and goals. You will listen, educate, and close with empathy and urgency, turning uncertainty into peace of mind.
  • • Work entirely from your U.S.-based home on a consistent evening shift that respects your personal schedule while maximizing customer availability: Eastern 1 PM–10 PM, Central 12 PM–9 PM, Mountain 11 AM–8 PM, Pacific 10 AM–7 PM. A shift differential is paid on top of base and bonus earnings.
  • • Master Colonial Penn’s product portfolio and CRM tools during three weeks of immersive virtual training led by award-winning facilitators. After graduation, continue to sharpen your craft through cross-training opportunities, monthly skill labs, and access to multiple business queues that keep the role fresh and your income growing.
  • • Exceed aggressive—but achievable—sales targets and unlock uncapped monthly bonuses. Top performers earn up to an additional $2,000 every month, while the highest annual earners surpass $100 K. First-year agents average $52 K, with a company-wide average of $64 K and top cohorts hitting $95 K.
  • • Deliver white-glove service that turns one-time buyers into lifelong advocates. You will handle policy questions, payment updates, and coverage upgrades with the same enthusiasm you bring to new sales, ensuring every touchpoint reinforces Colonial Penn’s reputation for compassion and reliability.
  • • Collaborate daily with a vibrant, nationwide team of Insurance Advocate Sales Agents through Microsoft Teams huddles, peer-to-peer coaching sessions, and real-time leaderboards. Share wins, troubleshoot objections, and celebrate milestones in a culture that prizes diversity, inclusion, and mutual success.
  • • Leverage cutting-edge technology—headset, laptop, dual monitors, and secure VPN—shipped directly to your home before Day 1. IT support is available 24/7 so you can focus on selling, not troubleshooting.
  • • Contribute to continuous improvement by logging customer feedback, competitor insights, and product suggestions in Salesforce. Your frontline observations directly influence marketing campaigns, underwriting guidelines, and future product development.
  • • Maintain strict compliance with state and federal insurance regulations, completing all required continuing-education hours and documentation audits. Colonial Penn’s Quality Assurance team provides side-by-side call reviews and personalized coaching to keep your license—and your conscience—spotless.
  • • Enjoy a clear advancement path: top agents can move into Senior Sales Agent, Team Lead, or Training roles within 12–18 months. Leadership development programs, tuition reimbursement, and industry certifications are fully funded so your career never plateaus.
  • • Represent a brand that has spent 60+ years earning the trust of American seniors. When you say “I’m calling from Colonial Penn,” doors open, defenses drop, and conversations begin from a place of credibility that few competitors can match.
