  • In this critical role, you will become an integral part of our close-knit Go-To-Market (GTM) team. You will collaborate closely with Hatch's leadership to shape and refine the strategies that enable fast-growing brands to modernize their customer engagement through Hatch's innovative AI agents. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the direction of a rapidly scaling technology company and to make a tangible impact on its success. You will report directly to Sean Coughlin, Hatch's seasoned Director of Sales, benefiting from his extensive experience and guidance.
  • Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact through to closing deals, for both inbound and outbound opportunities. This involves proactively identifying and nurturing leads, understanding prospect needs, and demonstrating the immense value that Hatch's AI solutions bring to businesses looking to enhance their customer interactions. You will be expected to develop a deep understanding of our product suite and its application across various industries and customer segments.
  • A key aspect of this role involves strategic partnership with our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and the Marketing team. You will work collaboratively to execute a focused and high-quality pipeline strategy, ensuring a steady flow of qualified opportunities. This synergy between sales, marketing, and leadership is crucial for our continued growth and success. You will contribute to building a robust and predictable revenue stream by consistently hitting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Beyond hitting targets, you will be instrumental in developing and documenting a repeatable playbook for overachievement. This involves analyzing sales performance, identifying best practices, and sharing insights with the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement and shared success. Your ability to articulate and refine sales processes will be highly valued.
  • While this is a remote-friendly position, it is designed as a hybrid role with an expectation of in-person collaboration. You will travel strategically to attend key customer meetings, participate in important industry events, and engage in face-to-face working sessions with sales leadership approximately 50-70% of the time. This blend of remote flexibility and in-person engagement is designed to foster strong team cohesion, facilitate effective collaboration, and maximize selling opportunities.

🎯 Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in a closing Account Executive role within the SaaS industry, with a strong preference for experience in AI or MarTech.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales quotas, specifically closing six-figure deals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and effectively engage with senior-level decision-makers.
  • Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach, working effectively with SDRs, Marketing, and Sales Leadership.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Boston or New York City metropolitan areas to facilitate hybrid, in-person work requirements.
