- • Own the full commercial sales cycle for Nightfall AI’s data loss prevention and insider risk management platform, from prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closure of net-new accounts
- • Develop and execute a targeted territory plan to identify, qualify, and convert commercial customers across high-priority industries including AI innovators and top-tier financial institutions
- • Build trusted relationships with security leaders, IT decision-makers, and insider risk practitioners to understand their operational challenges and align Nightfall’s platform with their risk reduction priorities
- • Deliver customized business value presentations and product demos that highlight automation, real-time remediation, and agent-based coaching features of the AI-native DLP platform
- • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success teams to generate high-quality pipeline, accelerate deal velocity, and ensure seamless customer onboarding
- • Maintain precise and up-to-date pipeline forecasts and account activity records in CRM to support accurate revenue forecasting and strategic planning
- • Exceed quarterly and annual new-business revenue targets through consistent prospecting, effective qualification, and disciplined follow-up
- • Stay current on evolving cybersecurity trends, competitive offerings, and customer requirements to confidently position Nightfall against legacy DLP, CASB, and insider risk solutions
- • Engage with both business and technical stakeholders to translate complex security capabilities into tangible business outcomes such as reduced incident response time and improved compliance posture
- • Participate in in-person meetings and industry events to cultivate relationships with prospects and expand Nightfall’s presence in the commercial cybersecurity market
- • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced, early-stage environment where processes are evolving and initiative drives impact
- • Contribute to shaping the company’s sales strategy by providing direct customer feedback on product positioning, pricing, and market needs
- • Act as a brand ambassador for Nightfall by embodying customer-centricity, practicality, and resilience in every customer interaction
- • Leverage a growing network of security professionals to identify warm leads and accelerate pipeline development
- • Maintain a high standard of communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all customer touchpoints, ensuring clarity and credibility in every interaction
- • Demonstrate passion for cybersecurity and AI by continuously learning and staying informed about advancements in data protection, generative AI risks, and automated threat response
- • Operate with autonomy and ownership, building processes as the company scales while maintaining rigorous discipline in sales execution
- • Balance entrepreneurial drive with strategic discipline to drive predictable revenue growth in a high-growth startup environment
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–3+ years of commercial sales experience with a proven track record of owning and closing net-new business
- • Cybersecurity domain experience strongly preferred, particularly in DLP, CASB, or Insider Risk Management solutions
- • Proven history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
- • Strong understanding of the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, value articulation, negotiation, and closure
- • Ability to effectively engage both business and technical stakeholders
- • Willingness and ability to travel for in-person prospect meetings
