We are seeking a high-performing Commercial Account Executive to significantly contribute to scaling our go-to-market strategy and expanding our customer base. - • As one of the inaugural Account Executives, you will be entrusted with the complete ownership of the sales cycle. This encompasses everything from initiating outbound prospecting efforts to successfully closing deals. You will foster close collaborations with our Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams. This partnership will enable you to gain a profound understanding of our product's development and its market significance, translating this knowledge into impactful conversations with both technical buyers and executive leadership. - • Your primary responsibilities will include owning and meticulously managing the entire sales cycle. This involves proactive prospecting, conducting thorough discovery calls, delivering compelling product demonstrations, skillfully negotiating terms, and ultimately closing deals. A critical aspect of this role is developing an in-depth understanding of our product's technical capabilities and effectively articulating its value proposition to a diverse audience, including developers, CTOs, and product managers. You will be responsible for generating a robust sales pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting initiatives, active engagement within the developer community, and the cultivation of strategic partnerships.
- • You will conduct detailed technical discovery sessions with engineering teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of their existing architecture, current developer workflows, and specific platform requirements. Building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with prospects and existing customers will be paramount. This involves actively identifying their unique business goals and demonstrating precisely how the LiveKit platform can be leveraged to achieve their success. Furthermore, you will serve as a crucial liaison between our customers and our internal teams, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering to integrate valuable customer feedback into our product roadmap discussions and refine our market positioning.
- • As one of the earliest members of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evolving our sales playbook, refining our core messaging, and optimizing our overall go-to-market motion. Accurate forecasting and diligent tracking of all pipeline activities will be essential, enabling close collaboration with leadership to inform strategic planning and decision-making. This role demands a proactive, results-oriented individual who is adept at navigating the complexities of a fast-paced, innovative technology company and driving significant revenue growth.
