- • As a Commercial Account Executive at Zendesk, you will drive top-line revenue growth by acquiring new commercial customers and developing innovative strategies for account expansion, playing a vital role in growing the company’s Commercial account base and closing deals of varying sizes and sales cycles.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing and nurturing customer relationships to ensure maximum satisfaction and retention, proactively identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities, leveraging data insights and customer intent to enhance prospecting and retention strategies, and leading complex sales cycles using value-based selling techniques to articulate compelling business cases.
- • You will collaborate with internal teams to refine sales strategies, maintain accurate forecasts, establish executive sponsorship with decision-makers, and consistently exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals through disciplined pipeline development and KPI tracking.

🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
- • At least 3 years of B2B sales or solution engineering experience, preferably in the SaaS industry with a proven record of exceeding sales targets.
- • Expertise in navigating complex sales cycles and renewals, including multi-month, value-centric processes with proof of concept stages.
- • Experience managing and expanding customer relationships at various levels, including selling to VP and C-level executives both in person and using remote technology.
- • Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and deal closing skills.
- • Familiarity with key sales tools such as Salesforce and Clari.
