  • • As a Commercial Account Executive for Zendesk’s West India Region, you will drive new business growth and expand existing customer relationships in high-potential verticals including Technology, Retail, eCommerce, and Travel, playing a pivotal role in Zendesk’s mission to transform customer experience through innovative SaaS solutions.
  • • You will build and lead a high-volume sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new opportunities while strategically managing existing accounts to exceed quarterly activity, pipeline, and revenue targets.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with solution consultants, channel partners, marketing, and business development teams to enhance territory coverage, align go-to-market strategies, and deliver cohesive customer engagement initiatives.
  • • Develop deep expertise in Zendesk’s product suite to conduct effective discovery calls, deliver compelling presentations and demos, and articulate the platform’s strategic value to C-level executives and key stakeholders.
  • • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with prospects and customers across your territory, acting as a trusted advisor who understands business challenges and tailors Zendesk solutions to drive measurable outcomes.
  • • Plan and execute targeted customer acquisition and engagement campaigns within the West India region, leveraging market insights and sales best practices to penetrate key accounts and expand market share.
  • • Maintain rigorous sales hygiene by tracking all opportunity details—including use cases, timelines, next steps, and forecasts—in Salesforce, ensuring accurate reporting and reliable pipeline visibility.
  • • Demonstrate consistent overachievement of sales quotas through disciplined execution, resilient prospecting, and consultative selling techniques tailored to complex, fast-paced sales cycles.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum 5 years of proven success in selling SaaS software solutions, preferably in commercial or enterprise markets.
  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • • Demonstrated experience selling to C-level executives and influencing strategic purchasing decisions.
  • • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in competitive, high-velocity environments.
  • • Strong ethical standards, self-motivation, and integrity in all customer and internal interactions.
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey complex value propositions clearly and persuasively.
  • • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Google Suite, and sales intelligence tools like Clari for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • • Willingness and ability to travel domestically up to 50% of the time within the West India region (Maharashtra, Gujarat, etc.).
