• • This role is a Commercial Banking Expert AI Trainer residency designed for senior research analysts and portfolio managers who want to gain hands-on experience shaping how AI models reason and make decisions in high-stakes financial contexts, directly contributing to the advancement of AI in institutional banking.
• • Day to day, you will develop and iterate realistic prompts to test AI-generated insights, systematically evaluate differences between human expert judgment and AI outputs across corporate, SME, and retail banking, design frameworks that translate commercial banking operations into AI reasoning challenges, and build and validate real-world credit cases and portfolio management frameworks to serve as expert benchmarks for evaluating frontier AI systems.
• • You will join Mentis AI, a team that combines deep institutional investment expertise from firms like Lazard and Partners Group with cutting-edge AI research, collaborating with leading AI labs in London and San Francisco to improve how models generalize and decide in complex financial environments.
