- • Support Office Leadership in advancing active business development opportunities and alliances across Europe.
- • Prepare overview materials for pitch decks, proposals, and meeting briefs to enable client engagements.
- • Coordinate follow-ups, track outreach activity, and ensure momentum on key business development pursuits.
- • Assist in managing relationships with private equity firms and portfolio companies, including preparation for meetings and events.
- • Maintain and ensure data quality in DealCloud (CRM), including accurate pipeline tracking and account information.
- • Monitor business development activity and support regular reporting on pipeline status and performance metrics.
- • Partner with Finance and Data & Analytics teams to compile recurring leadership reports on commercial performance.
- • Identify data gaps and support improvements in tracking, reporting, and CRM hygiene processes.
- • Support the rollout and adoption of business development tools, templates, and standardized processes within the London office.
- • Collaborate with Marketing to update collateral and ensure messaging consistency across all client-facing materials.
- • Identify opportunities to streamline commercial workflows and enhance operational efficiency in business development.
- • Support coordination of business development training sessions and enablement initiatives for the team.
- • Assist in attendance and preparation for key private equity industry events and community engagements.
- • Help track key sponsor relationships and maintain organized coverage plans for PE firms and portfolio companies.
- • Gather market feedback and share actionable insights with Commercial Excellence and Office Leadership teams.
- • Work closely with the US marketing team on global strategy for conferences, roundtables, and industry events.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day business development process questions within the London office.
- • Ensure documentation and process consistency across all client pursuits and account management activities.
- • Triage and coordinate business development-related requests within the London office to maintain operational flow.
- • This role is based in the London office with hybrid flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
- • Ideal candidates must be local to London to effectively engage with the regional private equity ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or graduate degree preferred
- • 7+ years of commercial or business development leadership experience in a professional services or private equity-related environment
- • Genuine interest in establishing and activating a network within the London and broader Europe private equity and portfolio company community
- • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to translate opportunity into measurable market growth
