- • Own the end-to-end acquisition and launch of new strategic partnerships for Deliveroo Express across grocery, retail, and restaurant verticals in the UK, Italy, France, and the UAE.
- • Build and qualify a pipeline of potential partners, leading commercial negotiations from initial outreach through to signed agreements.
- • Drive the commercial strategy for Deliveroo Express by identifying high-potential merchant opportunities and aligning them with Deliveroo’s logistics network.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Account Management teams to design and execute successful partner onboarding and pilot programs.
- • Shape go-to-market strategies by leveraging market insights, partner feedback, and performance data to refine Deliveroo Express’ value proposition.
- • Manage senior external stakeholders, including C-suite and decision-makers at retail, grocery, and restaurant businesses, to secure long-term partnerships.
- • Execute pilot programs to validate partnership models before scaling, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities and commercial goals.
- • Adapt communication and negotiation styles to suit diverse partner types and international markets while maintaining consistent commercial standards.
- • Proactively identify new market opportunities and emerging trends in on-demand delivery to inform Deliveroo Express’ expansion roadmap.
- • Balance rapid execution with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring partnerships are launched efficiently without compromising quality or compliance.
- • Represent Deliveroo Express in external meetings, pitches, and negotiations, acting as the primary commercial point of contact for new partners.
- • Contribute to the evolution of Deliveroo Express’ commercial framework by documenting lessons learned and scaling best practices across regions.
- • Maintain a strong bias for action, taking ownership of outcomes and driving initiatives forward in a fast-paced, hypergrowth environment.
- • Foster a collaborative, team-first approach while operating independently to meet aggressive business development targets.
- • Translate partner needs into actionable insights for internal teams to improve product offerings and service delivery.
- • Ensure all partnership launches adhere to legal, financial, and operational requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
