- • As a Commercial PIP Adjuster for Mobilitas (a commercial insurance company created by CSAA Insurance Group), you will play a critical role in handling first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and Medical Pay claims with reserves exceeding $30,000, including complex, catastrophic, and litigated cases across multiple states, directly contributing to the company’s mission to reinvent commercial insurance in the mobility space through innovative, member-focused solutions.
- • You will serve as the owning adjuster for first-party injury exposures, managing claims from initial identification through final resolution, including negotiating settlements within authority, directing defense counsel in litigation and arbitration, presenting coverage and reserving issues to committees, and ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements while advocating for fair outcomes for injured parties.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include investigating and ruling out exposures such as uninsured/underinsured motorist, subrogation, and dram shop; managing case utilization for medical and rehabilitation services; handling income continuation, essential services, death, and funeral benefits; and resolving claims involving multiple jurisdictions and complex legal proceedings with precision and empathy.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3-5 years of experience handling Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims in a property and casualty (P&C) insurance environment.
- • High School diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry.
- • Must hold a valid adjuster license for all applicable states or obtain required license(s) within 90 days of hire as a condition of employment.
