📋 Description

• As a Commercial Solutions Architect at dash0 GmbH, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects, bridging the gap between product capabilities and real-world customer outcomes by designing, demonstrating, and validating the company’s observability platform.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing observability solutions using OpenTelemetry, Kubernetes, and cloud-native technologies; translating customer requirements into scalable implementations; developing and executing Proofs of Concept; delivering technical demos to engineering and executive audiences; partnering with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle; providing architecture guidance on telemetry data modeling and OpenTelemetry collector setup; creating reusable demo environments and reference architectures; and contributing to technical content such as blog posts, conference talks, and documentation.
• You will join dash0 GmbH, an OpenTelemetry-native company building a simple, AI-centric observability platform that eliminates vendor lock-in and reduces toil, backed by top-tier investors including Balderton Capital, Accel, and Cherry Ventures, and currently in a high-growth phase post-Series B.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud-native observability, gain direct influence on product direction through customer feedback, develop advanced technical communication and pre-sales skills, and have clear pathways for career growth with direct access to founders and leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, observability pipelines, and distributed tracing
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, telemetry data ingestion, and performance optimization
• Strong understanding of modern DevOps, SRE, and platform engineering practices
• Proven ability to create and execute technical demos, architectures, and Proofs of Concept that demonstrate business value
• Strong technical communication skills — ability to explain complex observability concepts clearly to both engineers and decision-makers
• Collaborative mindset — experience working effectively across Sales, Product, and Engineering teams
