📋 Description
- • Supports title agents by managing all stages of the commercial real estate closing process, from initial commitment review to issuance of final title policies and endorsements
- • Reviews title commitments, surveys, and due diligence documents to ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and transaction requirements
- • Orders and tracks title and tax updates for single-site and multi-site commercial transactions across multiple U.S. states
- • Identifies and resolves title curative matters, including liens, easements, and ownership disputes, to clear defects prior to closing
- • Prepares, revises, and finalizes proforma title policies, endorsements, and closing documents in alignment with company standards
- • Assembles and verifies recording and transfer tax information for compliance with state and local regulations
- • Reviews and interprets purchase agreements, lender instructions, and closing documents from buyers, sellers, and financial institutions
- • Maintains accurate, organized, and up-to-date digital files, records, and reports using company systems and platforms
- • Communicates clearly and professionally with internal teams, external agents, attorneys, lenders, and clients to ensure seamless transaction execution
- • Responds to exam inquiries and obtains necessary underwriting approvals to advance transactions efficiently
- • Utilizes Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams) to manage documentation, calculations, and collaboration
- • Learns and applies proprietary company systems and software (FAST preferred) to streamline workflows and ensure operational accuracy
- • Manages high-volume transaction loads with precision, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-state environment
- • Demonstrates strong attention to detail in reviewing complex legal documents, financial data, and regulatory requirements
- • Exhibits exceptional organizational and time management skills, balancing multiple transactions with competing priorities
