📋 Description
- • As a Commercial Underwriter at First American Financial Corporation, you will play a critical role in evaluating and approving title insurance transactions for complex commercial real estate deals, ensuring precision, compliance, and confident outcomes for customers, agents, and internal partners.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing underwriting support and counsel to company personnel, agents, and customers; applying underwriting standards within delegated authority; guiding internal teams in real estate settlement execution; developing and communicating underwriting guidelines; and serving as a key resource for sharing insights across the team.

🎯 Requirements
- • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- • 5-7 years of title underwriting experience
- • Strong knowledge of real estate law, including federal and state regulations
- • Deep understanding of title insurance and settlement processes, including core concepts and industry practices
- • Proven ability to underwrite real estate transactions for title insurance issuance
- • Strong analytical thinking paired with sound decision-making skills
