- ⢠Commissioning Engineer at FORTNA plays a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment and validation of advanced automation systems for global clients, directly contributing to optimized supply chain performance and operational excellence in high-stakes industrial environments.
- ⢠Day-to-day responsibilities include debugging automation systems, conducting system and I/O checkout, supporting controls and PLC verification, testing system performance, leading junior commissioning engineers, verifying and validating engineered systems against design and customer specifications, interfacing with clients and subcontractors to resolve issues, designing pre-punched enclosures and subpanels using AutoCAD, and creating and updating project workbooks by pre-checking electrical drawings for accuracy, completeness, and UL compliance prior to installation and material ordering.

- ⢠Bachelorās Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience in a commissioning-related field
- ⢠1-3 yearsā experience in automation, control system design, or I/O checkout
- ⢠Knowledge of electrical and controls engineering theories and principles, along with significant electrical aptitude and familiarity with industry-accepted practices, techniques, and codes
