📋 Description
- • Analyze and assess legacy CI/CD pipelines to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual processes that hinder developer productivity and delivery speed.
- • Design and implement modern, automated CI/CD pipelines with integrated testing, security checks, and optimized deployment strategies to replace outdated workflows.
- • Migrate existing infrastructure and build processes to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CloudFormation to ensure reproducibility and scalability.
- • Define and standardize "golden paths" for build and deployment workflows across development, staging, and production environments to enforce consistency and reduce errors.
- • Improve pipeline observability by implementing comprehensive logging, monitoring, and alerting systems to enable fast, actionable feedback for engineering teams.
- • Collaborate directly with software engineering teams to enhance build reliability, reduce deployment failures, and increase confidence in release cycles.
- • Own CI/CD improvements end-to-end—from initial design and prototyping through testing, rollout, and post-deployment evaluation in production.
- • Proactively identify opportunities to modernize DevOps tooling, automate repetitive tasks, and improve overall engineering efficiency across the organization.
- • Work with legacy systems including custom scripts, XML-based configurations, and manual deployment processes to transition them into automated, scalable solutions.
- • Utilize scripting and automation tools such as Python, Bash, and C# to build custom utilities, integrate tools, and streamline pipeline operations.
- • Leverage CI/CD tools including GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps to construct, manage, and optimize continuous integration and delivery workflows.
- • Apply Docker and Kubernetes expertise to containerize applications, manage orchestration, and ensure consistent environments from development to production.
- • Maintain a strong focus on developer experience by reducing build times, minimizing pipeline failures, and providing clear feedback loops for code changes.
- • Contribute to evolving DevOps best practices by sharing knowledge, documenting standards, and mentoring peers on modern automation techniques.
- • Operate in a distributed, international engineering team with high autonomy to propose and implement technical improvements without bureaucratic overhead.
- • Work within a culture that emphasizes ownership, continuous improvement, and direct impact on engineering velocity and system reliability.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering
- • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, and C#
- • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation (required)
- • Proven experience modernizing or migrating legacy CI/CD pipelines
- • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps)
- • Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes
