  • • As a Communications Executive at Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you will play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying our external presence within the dynamic Chinese market. This position is integral to our mission of building a proactive AI system that seamlessly carries work forward across conversations, tools, and time. You will be at the forefront of our communication efforts, ensuring our narrative is clear, consistent, and impactful across all public-facing channels.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to support the development and meticulous execution of comprehensive external communications plans tailored specifically for China. This involves a deep understanding of the local landscape, identifying key opportunities, and translating strategic goals into actionable communication initiatives. You will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with media stakeholders, influencers, and relevant organizations.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves identifying and engaging with a diverse range of relevant media channels. This includes, but is not limited to, prominent technology publications, influential social media platforms, popular podcasts, and established traditional media outlets. Your ability to discern the most effective channels for our message will be crucial to maximizing our reach and impact.
  • • You will be a key contributor to the creation of high-quality communication materials. This includes drafting compelling press pitches that capture the essence of our innovations, preparing concise and informative briefing notes for internal and external stakeholders, and developing robust messaging documents that ensure consistency and clarity in all our external communications. Meticulous editing and proofreading will be essential to maintain the highest standards of professionalism.
  • • A core function of this role is the coordination of interviews and media engagements. You will be responsible for liaising with media representatives, scheduling interviews, preparing spokespeople with relevant background information and talking points, and ensuring timely follow-ups. Your organizational skills will be paramount in managing these engagements smoothly and effectively.
  • • Maintaining a consistent and coherent message across all external platforms is non-negotiable. You will be tasked with ensuring that our brand voice, key messages, and strategic priorities are accurately and uniformly represented in all communications, whether they are digital, print, or broadcast.
  • • You will actively track and monitor all media outreach efforts, meticulously maintaining organized records of all placements, coverage, and engagement metrics. This data will be vital for evaluating the effectiveness of our communication strategies and identifying areas for improvement.
  • • Staying abreast of evolving media trends, industry news, and the competitive landscape in China is essential. You will proactively monitor these trends, identify relevant opportunities for engagement or response, and flag them to the relevant internal teams, enabling us to remain agile and responsive.
  • • Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the maintenance of our communication documentation and messaging archives. This ensures that our historical communications are well-organized, easily accessible, and can be leveraged for future strategic planning.
  • • This role demands a proactive, hands-on approach, operating within a small, senior, and highly collaborative team environment. We expect individuals to take full ownership of their outcomes, demonstrating a strong sense of accountability and a commitment to driving results. The work is inherently output-driven, characterized by open discussions, swift decision-making, and efficient execution without unnecessary layers of approval. Clear thinking, structured communication, sound judgment, speed, and unwavering accountability are the cornerstones of how we operate and succeed.
  • • By joining Bjak Sdn. Bhd., you are not just accepting a job; you are embracing an invitation to be an integral part of a team dedicated to bringing the transformative power of AI to billions globally, making a tangible and positive impact on their lives through practical applications.
