📋 Description

• • Lead the strategic management and execution of internal and external communications content for meetings and events, ensuring alignment with BECU’s brand, culture, and business priorities.
• • Design and manage comprehensive communications and engagement ecosystems tailored to diverse audience levels and workgroups to maximize relevance and impact.
• • Partner with internal and external communications teams to ensure consistent messaging, tone, and strategic alignment across all channels and platforms.
• • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to executives and organizational leaders in the development and delivery of content and programming for key internal and external audiences.
• • Apply data-driven insights to evaluate content performance, develop metrics, track outcomes, and use competitive benchmarking to inform strategic decisions and improve engagement.
• • Maintain evolving expertise in communications, event programming, audience behavior, and performance metrics to drive innovation and continuous improvement in messaging strategies.
• • Manage external agencies, vendors, and freelancers, providing strategic direction, overseeing project timelines, controlling budgets, and ensuring quality delivery.
• • Collaborate directly with the People team and Chief People Officer to align communications strategies and programming with BECU’s overall People strategy and workforce initiatives.
• • Leverage deep knowledge of BECU’s culture, business operations, and strategic goals to shape content that reinforces organizational values and mission-driven objectives.
• • Document, maintain, and update written procedures and operational guidelines for all communications and events functions to ensure consistency and scalability.
• • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support evolving business priorities, emerging communication needs, and organizational change initiatives.
• • Influence enterprise-wide engagement, culture, and business outcomes through high-visibility communications that inspire action and build trust across member and employee audiences.
• • Foster cross-functional partnerships to ensure seamless integration of communications efforts with broader organizational strategies and initiatives.
• • Drive the innovation of communication tools and methods by integrating emerging best practices, performance insights, and audience feedback into content development.
• • Provide strategic counsel and presentation-ready content to senior leadership, ensuring clarity, impact, and alignment with BECU’s people-first philosophy.
