  • • The Analyst, Master Use Licensing – Revenue Assurance role at Warner Music Group ensures accurate processing, reporting, and analysis of revenues and expenses from third-party licensing, including soundtracks, compilations, samples, and label exclusivity waivers, directly supporting artist royalties and label financial integrity.
  • • Day to day, the analyst will oversee master use licensing revenue processes, match incoming payments to licensing deals, research unidentified accountings, prepare monthly licensing entries, resolve aged unallocated cash, generate ad hoc reports, support royalty audits, and conduct research on third-party licenses and payments.
  • • The Recorded Music Revenue Assurance team operates within Warner Music Group’s global music ecosystem, collaborating with licensing administration, royalties, legal, accounting, and label business affairs teams to support a diverse roster of artists across labels like Atlantic, Warner Records, and Parlophone.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in music licensing revenue streams, strengthen analytical and technical skills in SAP and Excel, gain end-to-end visibility into royalty accounting, and contribute to process improvements that directly impact artist compensation and financial accuracy across a major global music company.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Exceptional attention to detail and sense of accountability
  • • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • • Thorough understanding of core finance and accounting principles
  • • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects under deadlines
  • • Familiarity with SAP financial applications (preferred, not required)
  • • 0-2 years of experience in music and entertainment industry, particularly in recorded music licensing or artist royalties
