• • Payroll Specialist Lead - Japan is a critical role within Remote Technologies Inc.'s Global Payroll Operations Team, responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing for Japan-based employees while supporting global payroll excellence.
• • Day to day, the role involves acting as a subject matter expert for Japan payroll, managing stakeholder relationships across Payroll Implementation, Finance, Product, and Engineering teams, processing full end-to-end payroll including statutory filings, exceptions, approvals, and payments, ensuring data integrity and quality, handling accounting and reconciliations, monitoring KPIs and SLAs, implementing process improvements, mentoring and supporting junior payroll specialists, and backing up regional managers during absences.
