• • As a member of the Ecosio team you will sit at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and real-world business value. You will design, build and operate the integrations that let SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and home-grown ERP systems speak the same language—whether that language is EDIFACT, X12, XML, JSON or the next standard that has not been invented yet. Your code will eliminate paper, cut days off order-to-cash cycles and save customers millions in manual processing costs.
• • You will work in fully-remote, cross-functional squads that own a customer journey end-to-end. One sprint you might map a complex automotive supply-chain flow with 200+ trading partners; the next you will tune a high-throughput REST API that processes 10,000 invoices per minute. Our flat structure means you talk directly to customers, influence the roadmap and ship to production multiple times per week.
• • We run a modern stack: Kotlin and Java 17 micro-services on Kubernetes, Kafka for event streaming, PostgreSQL and Redis for persistence, Terraform and GitHub Actions for infrastructure-as-code. Observability is first-class: every service emits OpenTelemetry traces, Prometheus metrics and structured logs that feed into Grafana dashboards you will help curate. Security and compliance are baked in—our SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified platform encrypts data in transit and at rest, and we maintain region-specific e-invoicing compliance for 60+ countries.
• • Your day starts with a 15-minute stand-up in Slack huddles. You review a pull request that adds Peppol AS4 support for a Nordic retailer, then pair-program with a colleague in Lisbon to refactor a mapping engine that converts cXML to IDoc. After lunch you jump on a white-board call with a German automotive OEM to model a just-in-sequence delivery schedule. Before signing off you deploy a canary release to our Frankfurt data-centre and watch the SLO burn-rate drop thanks to the performance tweak you shipped yesterday.
• • Growth is constant. Every engineer owns a €50k annual learning budget for conferences, certifications and courses. You can become a Kafka guru, earn your AWS Solutions Architect Pro or dive deep into European e-invoicing legislation. Internal guilds meet monthly to share knowledge on topics like contract-driven testing, chaos engineering or sustainability in cloud workloads.

You will see the direct correlation between your commits and customer success metrics: 99.99 % platform availability, <200 ms median API latency, 40 % reduction in onboarding time for new trading partners.
