- • Own the end-to-end delivery of a refreshed job architecture and market-aligned base-pay structure for CLEAResult, a North-American leader in energy optimization. This is a high-impact, termed project that concludes only when every deliverable is complete, giving you a rare chance to leave a permanent imprint on how 1,400+ employees are hired, promoted, and rewarded.
- • Architect and simplify job families, titles, and leveling logic across all business units—Energy Efficiency Programs, Engineering, Sales, Technology, and Corporate Functions—eliminating legacy inconsistencies and creating one transparent framework that managers and employees can navigate with confidence.
- • Build a repeatable job-evaluation methodology that HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition can use long after the project ends, ensuring every new role is sized, leveled, and priced correctly without reopening the entire structure.
- • Design a streamlined grade-and-range base-pay structure that is externally competitive and internally equitable, leveraging real-time market data from the U.S. and Canada; present three scenario models to the Executive Leadership Team and secure go-forward approval.
- • Author concise, plain-language job descriptions and career-pathing guides for every job family so employees can see exactly how they can grow from entry-level analyst to principal consultant or from coordinator to director.
- • Create a change-management and communication toolkit—slide decks, FAQ sheets, manager talking points, and employee micro-learning videos—that will be rolled out company-wide to drive adoption and minimize disruption.
- • Partner daily with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal to balance speed with rigor; facilitate working sessions, data-validation sprints, and governance checkpoints that keep the project on its aggressive timeline.
- • Deliver executive-level updates every two weeks, translating complex compensation concepts into clear stories that highlight risk, opportunity, and ROI; adjust scope and sequencing in real time based on feedback.
- • Establish a centralized decision log and documentation repository so every assumption, benchmark source, and policy exception is auditable and transferable to future compensation projects.
- • Train a cohort of “Compensation Champions” inside HR and the business so the new architecture remains living, breathing, and continuously optimized after you transition out.
- • Champion CLEAResult’s people-first culture by embedding transparency, equity, and sustainability principles into every recommendation, ensuring the new structure supports our mission to create a carbon-neutral future.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of multi-industry compensation experience with at least one full-cycle job-architecture or base-pay-structure redesign delivered end-to-end
- • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or related field (Master’s, CCP, or GRP strongly preferred)
- • Expert command of Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI or similar visualization tool experience a plus
- • Proven ability to present complex compensation data and recommendations to C-suite audiences and secure buy-in
