- • As a Complaints Officer - Graduate at Lendable Ltd, you will play a critical role in investigating and resolving complex customer interactions related to loans, credit cards, and car finance products, ensuring fair and objective outcomes that uphold regulatory standards and drive customer trust.
- • Day to day, you will self-manage a varied caseload of complaints, communicate with customers via phone and writing, investigate issues thoroughly, apply FCA and DISP regulations, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with frontline and product teams to identify improvements in service and processes.
- • You will join a fast-growing, profitable fintech unicorn backed by top investors like Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs, operating in small, high-performing teams that are relentlessly resourceful and committed to building best-in-class technology and customer experiences.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in financial services complaint handling, regulatory compliance (FCA/DISP), dispute resolution, and customer advocacy, while gaining exposure to product improvement cycles and cross-functional collaboration in a scaling UK/US fintech environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in resolving complaints or customer disputes within a regulated environment
- • Strong knowledge and understanding of FCA regulation and DISP complaint handling rules and guidance
- • Excellent letter writing skills with the ability to create professional final response letters that break down complex issues for consumers
- • Ability to self-manage a varied and complex caseload while prioritising effectively and maintaining KPI performance
- • Good record keeping skills and the ability to back up decisions with demonstrable evidence and rationale
- • Sound moral compass and commitment to resolving complaints fairly without reliance on the Financial Ombudsman service
