- • The Compliance and Risk Specialist plays a key role in protecting Compass Surgical Partners’ assets and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and accreditation standards through compliance/HIPAA auditing, risk assessment, and corrective action monitoring.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include managing enterprise insurance programs (general liability, property, workers’ compensation, D&O, EPLI, cyber liability, etc.), leading annual renewals, conducting risk assessments, overseeing non-clinical claims, managing vendor and broker relationships, performing HIPAA and compliance audits, developing policies, supporting training, and preparing audit reports.
- • Compass Surgical Partners is a leading independent ambulatory surgery center (ASC) development and management partner with a nationwide portfolio of ASC joint ventures, having developed over 250 ASCs in the past three decades, focused on high-performance partnerships with health systems and physicians.
- • In this role, you will develop expertise in healthcare risk management, insurance program administration, regulatory compliance (including HIPAA and OIG guidance), and audit processes, while contributing to organizational stability and patient safety through proactive risk mitigation and compliance leadership.
