Compounding Pharmacy Technician (Nights)

📋 Description • As a Compounding Pharmacy Technician with Hims, you’ll serve as an integral part of the Hims Dispense & Fill pharmacy team. • You will work in our closed-door, modern pharmacy facility, focusing on compounding non-sterile medications, including topicals (creams/lotions), tablets, gummies, etc. • You will adhere to USP <795> and USP <800> requirements, maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant work environment. • This role plays a pivotal part in delivering safe, high-quality medications to our patients, and promotes impactful pharmaceutical services for our patients. • You will clean, calibrate, and maintain non-sterile compounding equipment and designated workspaces. • You will assist with staging raw materials and managing non-sterile compounding inventory. • You will adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment. • You will participate in site-specific training, ongoing competency assessments, and annual revalidation. • You will maintain proper documentation, including batch records, ingredient logs, and cleaning logs. • You will follow USP <795> and <800> requirements and ensure compliance with state and federal laws. • You will compound non-sterile medications (tablets, solutions, suspensions, gummy formulations, etc.) following prescription orders and site SOPs upon completion of certification. 🎯 Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent. • Active registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in the State of Ohio. • At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; prior experience in hospital or compounding settings preferred. • Familiarity with USP <795> and <800> standards and non-sterile compounding processes. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements, documentation, and record-keeping. • Ability to follow procedures and maintain compliance in a regulated environment. • Organized, dependable, and collaborative team player. • Commitment to patient safety and quality standards. 🏖️ Benefits • Highly competitive base compensation + benefits package. • Closed-door facility - No customer service involved, focusing purely on pharmacy operations. • Continuous professional development - Gain valuable experience with USP <795> and USP <800>, compounding unique formulations such as gummies, pharmacy automation, and more in our innovative pharmacy. • Built-in growth opportunities - Hims’ in-house career progression plan enhances your career growth, offering pathways into highly specialized areas of pharmacy such as non-sterile and sterile compounding, pharmacy leadership, and pharmacy automation.
