Computer Vision PhD Intern (Summer 2026)

📋 Description

• • This 3-month summer internship is designed for current PhD students to partner with Reality Defender's AI team on cutting-edge research in deepfake detection, with the goal of generating publishable peer-reviewed work.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include investigating novel methods for generative image and video detection, collaborating with researchers, performing independent research, implementing and evaluating ideas using Python, PyTorch, and GPU cloud resources (AWS/GCP), and writing up results for internal reports and academic submission.
• • The role is based within Reality Defender, an award-winning cybersecurity company focused on detecting AI-generated media to combat disinformation and fraud, backed by top-tier investors and serving enterprise, financial, and government clients.
• • Interns will gain hands-on experience in advanced computer vision research, deepen expertise in deep learning frameworks, contribute to meaningful security technology, and have the opportunity to publish in top-tier venues like CVPR, ICCV, or NeurIPS under mentorship from Jacob Seidman.
