📋 Description
- • As a Concierge Security Engineer 2 / Cybersecurity Consultant 2 at Arctic Wolf Networks, you will play a critical role in safeguarding client environments by acting as a trusted technical advisor and frontline responder to security incidents, directly contributing to the company’s mission of eliminating cyber risk through its award-winning Aurora Platform and managed detection and response services.
- • You will collaborate closely with senior cybersecurity engineers and client stakeholders to analyze security alerts from the Security Operations Center (SOC), investigate potential threats, and deliver actionable insights that strengthen organizational defenses — blending technical analysis with clear, consultative communication to drive real-world security improvements.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include: conducting log analysis and forensic review of security data sources to detect anomalies and indicators of compromise; supporting the creation of detailed technical reports and security assessments for clients; translating complex technical findings into understandable guidance for non-technical stakeholders; identifying structural weaknesses in client environments and recommending prioritized remediation steps; assisting in incident response activities under mentorship; maintaining professional, trust-based client relationships through consistent, empathetic engagement; and continuously developing your technical and advisory skills through structured learning and hands-on project work.
- • You will operate within Arctic Wolf’s globally recognized, high-performing team of ‘Pack Members’ — a culture built on innovation, inclusivity, and relentless commitment to cybersecurity excellence, as evidenced by the company’s repeated inclusion in Forbes Cloud 100, CNBC Disruptor 50, Fortune Future 50, and Fortune Cyber 60 lists, along with industry-leading recognitions from IDC MarketScape and Gartner Peer Insights.
- • The company fosters a supportive, mentorship-driven environment where you will gain deep, practical experience in real-world security operations, including exposure to cloud infrastructures, SaaS platforms, network security, and endpoint protection — all while advancing your ability to advise clients on risk management, compliance frameworks (such as NIST and MITRE ATT&CK), and security best practices.
- • Through this role, you will develop into a well-rounded cybersecurity professional capable of bridging technical depth with client-facing consultancy — building expertise that is highly transferable across industries and positioning you for long-term growth in one of the most dynamic and impactful fields in technology.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–3 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, with hands-on exposure to network security, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS environments.
- • Foundational knowledge in at least four of the following areas: networking (TCP/IP, subnetting), operating system hardening (Windows/Linux/Unix), security tools (firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS), scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), vulnerability assessment (Nmap, Nessus, OpenVAS), incident response basics, or security frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST).
- • Strong communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and build trust through professional, empathetic client interactions.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary range of €51,000–€143,000 annually, supplemented by variable incentive compensation and new hire equity grants.
- • 30 days of vacation per year, flexible working hours, and the option to work remotely from Germany or from Arctic Wolf’s modern office in Frankfurt equipped with high-quality hardware (Mac).
- • Comprehensive support for professional growth, including access to training, certifications, mentorship programs, and a culture that values continuous learning and personal development.
