- • Support EPC operations by addressing engineering concerns from construction start through SOLV’s warranty period.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for operations teams to communicate engineering issues and facilitate solutions with SOLV Engineering, partners, and vendors.
- • Respond to and resolve construction-related RFI’s (Requests for Information) from internal and external stakeholders with urgency and precision.
- • Ensure full understanding and adherence to project-specific design requirements, including SOLV Energy standards, client/contract specifications, and permitting conditions.
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with site teams including Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Managers to enhance operational alignment.
- • Interpret and apply SOLV EPC Contract terms to confirm compliance and support operational decision-making.
- • Direct the implementation of autonomous pile driving systems to maximize material, labor, and schedule efficiencies tied to terrain-following racking systems.
- • Assist operations teams in managing engineering-intensive interactions with client engineers or independent engineers.
- • Guide project teams through design comments and feedback from consultants to ensure constructability and compliance.
- • Support the warranty team in determining responsibility for failures related to manufacturer defects, compromised design, or installation errors.
- • Develop and lead project-specific training for Project Management and Field Teams on GPS-enabled pile drivers, associated software, and proprietary tools.
- • Contribute to SOLV Energy’s development of continuous construction monitoring using drone technology.
- • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and communication across engineering and operations functions.
- • Work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment while managing responsibilities during occasional site visits.
- • Read, interpret, and apply complex project drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- • Utilize MS Office, particularly Excel, for data organization, reporting, and analysis.
- • Maintain proficiency in CAD/GIS and other engineering software tools as required for project support.
- • Operate in both office and field settings, with occasional exposure to weather, vibration, dust, fumes, electric shock, radiation, toxic chemicals, and high noise levels.
- • Possess physical ability to see details at close and distant ranges, hear, speak, and maintain depth perception.
- • Occasional driving, climbing, carrying, and working in elevated or exposed locations may be required.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, or related field
- • 2-5 years of construction-related experience or equivalent
- • Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel
- • Ability to read and understand project drawings and specifications
- • Exposure to CAD/GIS and aptitude for proficiency in engineering software
- • Field experience preferred
