- • As a Construction Estimator/Preconstruction Manager at Ameresco, Inc., you will lead all estimating and preconstruction activities for large-scale energy generation, storage, and infrastructure projects, playing a critical role in ensuring cost accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project objectives from conceptual estimating through detailed bid execution.
- • Day to day, you will lead the development of Independent Cost Estimates (ICE), ROM estimates, and detailed bid estimates; perform quantity take-offs and develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates; manage subcontractor solicitation, bid leveling, negotiation, and award; conduct constructability reviews and value engineering; develop General Conditions estimates; coordinate with engineering, development, procurement, and construction teams; manage RFI processes in Procore; ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; support proposal development; and build strong subcontractor relationships across the national footprint.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in utility-scale renewable energy estimating, gain advanced experience with federal contracting requirements, refine your leadership in managing preconstruction teams and multiple complex projects, and strengthen your proficiency with industry-standard tools like Procore, RSMeans, HCSS, and Bluebeam while contributing to Ameresco’s mission of sustainable infrastructure development.
