- • Ferguson Enterprises, a Fortune 500 company and a leading distributor of plumbing, PVF, waterworks, and fire protection products, is seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Sales Project Manager to join our Strategic Infrastructure group. This is a remote opportunity supporting the Southeast Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant market, requiring availability during EST business hours. You will play a pivotal role in driving the success of critical sales projects, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion and contributing directly to our mission of making our customers’ complex projects simple, successful, and sustainable.
- • As a Construction Sales Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive administrative and strategic support for water and wastewater treatment plant projects. This involves leading the strategic planning and execution of sales initiatives, meticulously defining project scopes, objectives, timelines, and resource allocations. You will be instrumental in developing robust risk management strategies to proactively identify and mitigate potential challenges, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
- • You will manage and motivate cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment where clear communication and accountability are paramount. Your leadership will guide teams to achieve key project milestones and objectives, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and working towards common goals. This includes defining project strategies that not only capitalize on emerging market opportunities but also directly drive revenue growth for Ferguson.
- • A crucial aspect of this role involves continuous monitoring of project progress against defined metrics. You will proactively identify potential roadblocks or deviations from the plan, implementing timely and effective corrective actions and strategies to maintain project momentum and ensure successful outcomes. Your analytical skills will be vital in assessing project performance, generating regular, insightful reports for leadership that highlight project health, identify areas for improvement, and inform future strategic decisions.
- • Client engagement and relationship management are at the heart of this position. You will be responsible for driving client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining open lines of communication, and ensuring that client expectations are met and exceeded. Your ability to build and nurture strong client relationships will be key to securing repeat business and enhancing Ferguson's reputation in the market.
- • Beyond individual project management, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management framework. This includes developing and refining project management processes, identifying and implementing best practices, and leveraging appropriate tools to enhance overall project efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
- • You will also serve as a thought leader within the sales and project management spheres, contributing valuable insights and recommendations on sales strategies and project execution. Your expertise will be sought after to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment, encouraging the sharing of ideas, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development among team members and stakeholders.
