- • Provide advanced technical and functional support for Rockwell Automation’s FactoryTalk Information Software portfolio, with primary focus on Life Sciences solutions including PharmaSuite.
- • Diagnose and resolve complex application, integration, infrastructure, and performance issues across MES, ERP, databases, servers, and network layers.
- • Deliver support to customers via phone, screen sharing, and email interactions as part of Level 3 technical support teams.
- • Analyze system behavior in regulated manufacturing environments to ensure compliance and operational continuity for mission-critical systems.
- • Create and publish high-quality knowledge base articles, blogs, videos, and reference documentation to enhance customer enablement and internal team resources.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and support teams to drive timely resolution of critical customer issues.
- • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to manage expectations, provide status updates, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the support lifecycle.
- • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry standards, and competitive offerings in industrial automation and MES environments.
- • Mentor and coach junior team members to foster professional growth and technical excellence within the support organization.
- • Deliver technical presentations to internal and external audiences as required to share insights and best practices.
- • Participate in rotational after-hours and weekend on-call support to maintain 24x7 coverage for global customer operations.
- • Configure, troubleshoot, and administer Linux and Windows Server environments supporting FactoryTalk applications.
- • Work with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle RDBMS to diagnose data-related issues in manufacturing systems.
- • Support web-based applications and integrate systems using protocols such as OPC, LDAP, SSL/TLS, REST APIs, and web services.
- • Utilize tools including Jira, Git, SSRS, Microsoft Azure, and containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) to manage deployments and support workflows.
- • Apply programming skills in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and Eclipse to customize, debug, and extend application functionality.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes, documentation standards, and knowledge management systems.
- • Manage multiple priorities independently while maintaining high standards of customer service and technical accuracy.
- • Influence outcomes without direct authority by building consensus across engineering, product, and customer teams.
- • Demonstrate commitment to professional development through ongoing learning and application of new technologies in industrial automation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (other disciplines considered based on relevance)
- • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, implementing, or designing industrial process and/or automation systems
- • Experience with Rockwell Automation software platforms including FactoryTalk ProductionCentre, PharmaSuite, CPG, FactoryTalk Analytics, and Modular Framework
- • Knowledge of Life Sciences manufacturing and associated MES/ERP tools
- • Legal authorization to work in the United States without present or future sponsorship
- • Availability for rotational after-hours and weekend support as needed for 24x7 customer operations
