- • Serve as the primary client-facing strategist responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing custom content and SEO strategies for enterprise B2B clients in tech and SaaS industries.
- • Create data-driven client strategies aligned with Directive’s DiscoverabilityOS™ methodology, integrating keyword research, on-page optimization, link building, and content production to maximize NSM attainment.
- • Utilize Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog to analyze website traffic, SERP share, and SEO performance, then translate insights into actionable strategy revisions.
- • Set client goals based on historical performance and current campaign data; ensure all goals are reviewed and approved by the Associate Director (AsD) before client presentation.
- • Manage end-to-end execution of content campaigns by coordinating with internal specialists, writers, and designers to deliver high-quality, on-time deliverables that meet client standards.
- • Use Asana to assign, track, and monitor tasks across internal teams and client teams, ensuring deadlines are met and responsibilities are clearly communicated.
- • Partner with Project Managers in client pods to align task creation, assignment, and due dates, maintaining accountability and transparency throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- • Conduct bi-weekly client meetings to report on NSM progress, deliverable status, and strategic adjustments, while proactively communicating via Slack between meetings on updates, delays, and opportunities.
- • Produce monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual business review reports that clearly articulate campaign impact, ROI, and growth opportunities to clients and internal leadership.
- • Identify and pursue upsell, cross-sell, and referral opportunities within client accounts, such as expanding into Paid Media, increasing content budgets, or transitioning to new service lines.
- • Build and maintain trusted client relationships by understanding their business goals beyond deliverables, engaging on a human level, and asking for referrals at key moments (e.g., new job transitions, 5-star CSAT scores).
- • Proactively communicate roadblocks, strategic shifts, internal client changes, or account growth opportunities to Associate Directors and internal leadership.
- • Stay current on digital marketing trends, including AI and automation tools, and apply emerging best practices to enhance campaign effectiveness and operational efficiency.
- • Maintain 100% NSM attainment, 96% MRR retention, and CSAT scores above 4.2 across all assigned clients.
- • Ensure all client deliverables adhere to Directive’s proprietary best practices, including LTV:CAC modeling, customer generation frameworks, and Share of SERP optimization.
- • Operate 100% remotely from a home office with reliable internet, using Zoom, Slack, Asana, and other productivity tools to collaborate with global teams.
- • Adhere to Directive’s remote work expectations: remain stationary for extended periods, interpret written and verbal communication accurately, and maintain a professional work environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of implementing SEO principles including keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building
- • Analytical proficiency using Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and Screaming Frog
- • Strong client-facing communication skills with experience managing enterprise B2B tech or SaaS accounts
- • Demonstrated experience working in a digital marketing agency environment
- • Proven organizational and project management skills with proficiency in Asana or similar tools
- • Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content strategy, with a drive to stay ahead of industry trends including AI and automation
