- • As a Content Strategist at Directive Consulting, you will be at the forefront of client success, serving as the primary architect of their digital marketing strategies. This pivotal, client-facing role demands a deep understanding of B2B performance marketing, with a specific focus on driving tangible revenue growth through innovative content and SEO initiatives. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of enterprise-level client accounts, meticulously crafting and executing bespoke strategies that align with their unique business objectives and our proprietary Customer Generation methodology.
- • Your core responsibility will be to translate client goals into actionable, data-driven strategies. This involves a comprehensive analysis of client needs, market trends, competitor landscapes, and audience insights to develop compelling content campaigns. You will leverage a suite of industry-leading tools, including Google Analytics, SEMRush, and Ahrefs, to inform your strategic decisions, set ambitious yet achievable goals, and continuously optimize performance throughout the client lifecycle.
- • A key aspect of this role is ensuring strategic excellence and adherence to Directive's best practices. You will be expected to build upon foundational strategies established during project phases, constantly refining them based on ongoing campaign performance, client feedback, and evolving market dynamics. This includes a strong emphasis on understanding and applying principles like LTV:CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production to ensure clients are positioned for maximum success.
- • You will act as the central hub for communication, fostering strong, human-level relationships with clients while also serving as the primary liaison between clients and our internal teams. This requires proactive, transparent, and consistent communication regarding timeline expectations, progress towards goals, and any potential roadblocks or opportunities. You will utilize Slack and other communication channels to maintain engagement between formal meetings, ensuring clients feel supported and informed at every step.
- • Project management is integral to this role. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of the strategies you develop. This involves delegating tasks effectively to internal specialists (content writers, designers, SEO experts) and client teams, meticulously tracking progress, and ensuring all deliverables are met on time and to the highest quality standards. Collaboration with Project Managers, where present, will be crucial for seamless workflow management.
- • Reporting is a critical component of demonstrating value and impact. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting comprehensive bi-weekly client meetings, monthly reports, quarterly reviews, and bi-annual business reviews. These reports will showcase progress against Net Sales Margin (NSM) goals, client satisfaction (CSAT) scores, and highlight the tangible results of your strategic initiatives.
- • Beyond strategy execution, you will be a key driver of client growth and retention. This involves actively identifying opportunities for upsells, cross-sells, and referrals by understanding clients' evolving needs and demonstrating the value of expanding their engagement with Directive's service lines. Building genuine rapport and trust will naturally lead to opportunities for clients to advocate for our services.
- • This role is designed for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You will be empowered to challenge the status quo, think boldly, and push campaigns beyond expectations. If you are passionate about performance marketing, excel at solving complex problems, and are driven by the desire to make a meaningful impact on client growth, you will find a fulfilling career at Directive Consulting.
- • The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, escalating issues to your Associate Director when necessary, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement. You will also be responsible for crafting insightful creative briefs that guide content production, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and audience engagement.
- • You will be expected to maintain a deep understanding of the B2B tech and/or SaaS landscape, enabling you to provide strategic counsel that resonates with clients in these sectors. Your ability to articulate complex strategies in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing, will be paramount to your success and the success of your clients.
- • Ultimately, you will be instrumental in building and scaling marketing engines that deliver real revenue, fuel pipeline growth, and solidify Directive Consulting's reputation as a leader in performance marketing.
