📋 Description

• The Content Strategy and Operations Manager role spans strategy and operations at MUBI Limited, a global streaming service, production company, and film distributor.
• The role involves shaping frameworks for content capital allocation, evaluating deals, and contributing to the development of MUBI's unique Content model.
• On operations, the role includes owning processes, reporting, and operating cadence to keep content decisions moving and hold the division to a high standard of execution.
• The role requires close collaboration with senior decision-makers and setting the bar for how the function operates.
• The Content Strategy and Operations Manager will have a significant impact on MUBI's content strategy and operations, including shaping frameworks, contributing to greenlight frameworks, strengthening MUBI's position as a premier partner for filmmakers, and building analysis behind real decisions.
• The role also involves managing the day-to-day operational backbone of the content slate and the planning cadence that keeps decisions on schedule, setting the standard for how the function plans and executes.
• The Content Strategy and Operations Manager will own how the division reports on content performance and set the standard others build to.
• The role requires a strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience building workflows and managing processes, and exceptional communication skills.
• The ideal candidate will have 3/4+ years of experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, strategic finance, or a content strategy role, with a track record of strong analytical work and working with executive stakeholders.
• The candidate should have hands-on experience building workflows and managing processes, and be able to take an ambiguous question and structure it into analysis that drives a decision.
• The Content Strategy and Operations Manager will be responsible for owning a strategic workstream or area end to end and showcasing this during an interview.
• The role requires comfort with both the numbers and the film, exceptional communication skills, genuine ownership, low ego, and high pace.
• A real interest in cinema is also a plus.
