- • Own the full contract lifecycle at PartnerStack—from initial draft through redlines, approvals, and e-signature—ensuring every partner, vendor, and customer agreement is executed on time and in full compliance with global regulations.
- • Draft, negotiate, and close SaaS subscription agreements, channel-partner contracts, data-processing addenda, and vendor MSAs with a sharp eye on revenue recognition, liability caps, indemnities, and renewal terms.
- • Build and continuously refine scalable playbooks, clause libraries, and approval matrices that empower Sales, Customer Success, and Partnership teams to move deals forward without waiting for legal bottlenecks.
- • Serve as the single source of truth for all contractual risk; run red-flag reviews, maintain a living risk register, and present concise briefings to Finance, Security, and Executive leadership so strategic decisions are made with full visibility.
- • Partner closely with RevOps to map contract data into Salesforce, ensuring renewal dates, expansion triggers, and discount approvals are visible to every stakeholder and never slip through the cracks.
- • Monitor evolving privacy, export-control, and AI-governance regulations across North America, EMEA, and APAC; translate new statutes into plain-language guidance and updated templates that keep PartnerStack ahead of the compliance curve.
- • Design and deliver quarterly enablement sessions for non-legal teammates, turning complex legal concepts into actionable checklists that accelerate deal velocity while protecting company interests.
- • Drive the implementation of a contract-lifecycle-management (CLM) platform—own vendor selection, data migration, user training, and KPI dashboards that cut contract turnaround time by 30% within the first year.
- • Collaborate with Finance to model the P&L impact of different pricing, discount, and termination scenarios, giving leadership the data they need to optimize revenue and margin.
- • Lead cross-functional “deal desk” calls for high-value or high-risk transactions, balancing legal, security, finance, and partnership priorities to craft creative solutions that close faster and protect downside.
- • Maintain a centralized repository of signed agreements, amendments, and SOWs with full audit trails to support due-diligence requests from investors, insurers, or acquirers.
- • Champion a culture of continuous improvement—run post-mortems on lost or delayed deals, surface root causes, and iterate on process, templates, and tooling to raise the bar quarter over quarter.
- • Provide ad-hoc legal support on employment, IP, and corporate matters as the second legal hire in a fast-growing scale-up, giving you exposure to every corner of the business and a direct line to the executive team.
- • Represent PartnerStack externally by speaking at industry webinars, contributing to legal-tech blogs, and networking with peer GCs to keep our practices—and your career—at the cutting edge.
