  • • As a Contract Specialist, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Legal, Risk and Compliance (LRC) team, playing a pivotal role in supporting Kpler’s extensive global commercial activities and ambitious strategic growth initiatives.
  • • This position offers a unique opportunity to act as a trusted legal and commercial partner to various business units, fostering strong collaborative relationships with Sales, Finance, Product, Marketing, Partnerships, and Engineering teams.
  • • You will be instrumental in the end-to-end lifecycle management of a diverse portfolio of commercial and public procurement contracts, from initial drafting and meticulous negotiation through to final execution and ongoing management.
  • • A core responsibility will be the proactive identification, assessment, and mitigation of legal risks associated with contractual agreements, ensuring strict alignment with Kpler’s overarching commercial objectives and defined risk appetite.
  • • You will be responsible for drafting and reviewing a wide array of agreements, including but not limited to, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Partnership Agreements, Vendor Contracts, and Public Procurement Contracts.
  • • This involves translating complex business requirements into clear, concise, and legally sound contractual language, ensuring Kpler’s interests are protected while facilitating smooth business operations.
  • • You will actively participate in contract negotiations, liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties to achieve mutually beneficial terms that uphold Kpler’s standards and strategic goals.
  • • A key aspect of the role involves managing the contract repository, ensuring all agreements are accurately filed, tracked, and accessible, and that key dates and obligations are monitored.
  • • You will provide essential legal support and guidance to business teams on contract-related matters, offering practical advice and solutions to contractual challenges.
  • • This includes advising on contract interpretation, identifying potential breaches, and assisting in dispute resolution when necessary.
  • • You will collaborate closely with the wider LRC team to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies across all contractual activities.
  • • Contribute to the development and refinement of Kpler’s contract management processes, templates, and playbooks to enhance efficiency and consistency.
  • • Stay abreast of evolving legal and regulatory landscapes impacting commercial contracts and public procurement, particularly within the technology and data intelligence sectors.
  • • Support the implementation and optimization of contract management systems and tools to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
  • • This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of commercial law and contract principles, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts (e.g., MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, partnership agreements, vendor agreements).
  • • Solid understanding of contract law principles and commercial legal terminology.
  • • Experience with public procurement contracts is a significant advantage.
  • • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely.
  • • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
