- • The Contracts Manager role at Zip is central to scaling legal operations by designing efficient processes, managing routine contracts, and leveraging automation and AI to improve speed and consistency in procurement-related workflows.
- • Day to day, the person will manage legal intake and triage for procurement, review and negotiate routine agreements like NDAs and vendor contracts, escalate high-risk issues, maintain contract workflows and tools (e.g., DocuSign), build automations, partner with cross-functional teams, and track operational metrics to drive improvements.
- • Zip is an AI-powered enterprise procurement platform backed by top investors, serving major enterprises like T-Mobile and OpenAI, with a mission to orchestrate procurement across teams and suppliers using AI agents to enable faster innovation.
- • The person can learn to apply AI and automation in legal operations, gain end-to-end ownership of contract lifecycle processes, build scalable systems in a high-growth tech environment, and directly influence how modern legal work is performed at an innovative enterprise.
🎯 Requirements
- • Meaningful experience in contracts management, legal operations, procurement operations, paralegal work, or a related function
- • Strong familiarity with commercial contracts and the ability to review routine agreements with sound judgment
- • Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, vendor intake, or contract approval workflows
- • Comfort working with contract lifecycle tools, e-signature platforms, workflow automation tools, and systems administration
- • Strong operational discipline and attention to detail
- • Ability to manage a high volume of requests while keeping stakeholders informed and work moving
