This pivotal role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and carries the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of financial reporting, the month-end close process, external audits, regulatory compliance, and day-to-day accounting operations. You will be a key strategic partner to the executive leadership team, providing critical financial insights and support to drive the company's ambitious growth trajectory.
- • This is an exceptional opportunity for a technically proficient accounting leader who not only excels in fast-paced environments but is also passionate about building robust, scalable processes and infrastructure within a rapidly expanding SaaS organization. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of ABODO Inc. as we continue our upward momentum.
- • **Financial Reporting & Close:** You will own the entire monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to the highest standards. This includes the preparation and meticulous review of GAAP-compliant financial statements, ensuring all reporting meets regulatory requirements. A significant aspect of this responsibility will be ensuring strict compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, a critical component for SaaS businesses. Furthermore, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive management reporting packages and preparing essential materials to support board meetings, providing clear and concise financial narratives to stakeholders.

This involves cultivating and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with external auditors and tax advisors, ensuring smooth and efficient audit cycles. A critical part of this role is designing, implementing, and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting. Additionally, you will oversee all federal, state, and local tax compliance matters, ensuring the company meets all its tax obligations accurately and on time.
- • **Cash & Treasury Management:** You will be responsible for managing cash flow forecasting and overseeing treasury functions to ensure optimal liquidity and financial health. - • **Team Leadership:** You will be responsible for hiring, managing, and developing a high-performing accounting team. This involves building a scalable accounting infrastructure that can support the company's growth and fostering a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team. Your leadership will be key to empowering team members and ensuring the accounting department operates at peak performance.
