- • As a Coordinator, Revenue Cycle at CVS Health Corporation, you will play a vital role in supporting external clients by managing the intake process for patient referrals, ensuring accurate verification of insurance benefits, obtaining necessary authorizations, and facilitating timely communication of benefit information—directly contributing to cost-effective, patient-centered care delivery.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include verifying patient health insurance eligibility and benefits, obtaining initial and subsequent service authorizations as required, loading patient benefit data into client systems, calculating pricing, running test claims, and maintaining meticulous documentation of all interactions and transactions with payer staff and external client personnel via phone and email.
- • You will manage and track forms and documentation requiring payer or physician signatures, monitor future dates for follow-up actions such as reauthorizations, and utilize home infusion software, payer portals, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of revenue cycle tasks.
- • Working independently with strong organizational and time management skills, you will prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and apply critical thinking to resolve discrepancies or delays in authorization and billing processes, all while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and clear communication.
- • You will be part of a dedicated, mission-driven team at CVS Health committed to simplifying healthcare for individuals, families, and communities—where your work directly supports seamless access to home infusion and durable medical equipment services through reliable, compliant revenue cycle operations.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, particularly within home infusion and DME contexts, while strengthening your proficiency in healthcare systems, insurance navigation, and client-facing communication—building a foundation for advancement in healthcare operations, billing, or patient access roles within a Fortune 500 healthcare leader.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1+ years of work experience in revenue cycle operations (e.g., intake, billing, collections, credits, cash)
- • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel
- • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
