- • Provides management oversight for the Consulting business unit at Corazon, including team leadership, mentoring, process standardization, and client success initiatives;
- • Directs weekly and monthly activities of the Consulting unit with focus on team capacity, performance metrics, and delivery excellence;
- • Participates in leadership meetings and contributes to the development and implementation of strategic plan initiatives for the Consulting division;
- • Ensures all consulting subspecialty service lines maintain a standardized, high-quality approach to client delivery;
- • Assigns consulting team members to client engagements in collaboration with sales leads, matching project requirements with team expertise;
- • Assists Vice Presidents in executing service line growth initiatives and work plans;
- • Represents Corazon in promotional activities, professional societies, speaking engagements, and industry meetings; authors articles for publication in journals and news outlets;
- • Maintains current knowledge of clinical service offerings and healthcare industry trends to inform consulting delivery;
- • Collaborates with the President and Executive Vice President to identify, approach, and pursue new business opportunities and sales prospects;
- • Reviews proposals and delivers sales presentations to clients upon request, working directly with the sales team;
- • Partners with HR and leadership to recruit, hire, and select candidates for open consulting roles;
- • Conducts performance appraisals for direct reports and contributes evaluations for all team members;
- • Oversees onboarding and orientation of new consulting hires and serves as a mentor to staff for professional development;
- • Maintains and updates the official consulting delivery model to ensure alignment with best practices and client expectations;
- • Acts as Account Manager on key engagements to ensure contract terms are fulfilled, client needs are met, and invoicing/payment processes are accurately executed;
- • Facilitates resolution of client issues and reinforces identification of upsell opportunities to be passed to the Sales team;
- • Works with IT to develop and enhance CUBE as a real-time project management and delivery reporting tool;
- • Evaluates the need for and engages sub-contractors to supplement consulting service delivery;
- • Identifies and procures new business opportunities including upsell, cross-sell, and lead generation for Corazon and Ingenovis sister companies;
- • Completes all required management administrative tasks, including monthly reports, in a timely manner to meet company deadlines;
- • Develops and maintains operational policies and procedures specific to the Consulting business unit;
- • Annually reviews Advisor contributions with CLT and VPs, recommending renewals and overseeing advisor contract-to-delivery workflows;
- • Works with Account Managers to define scope of work for medical advisors from contract negotiation through project completion;
- • Performs additional duties as assigned by management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- • Progressive management experience with demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- • Work experience in healthcare management
- • Three years of successful consulting experience in a project leadership role
- • Demonstrated credibility in managing service lines with understanding of business implications
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
