📋 Description

• • Corporate Development Manager at MeridianLink, Inc. plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth strategy through mergers and acquisitions, operating at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations in the fintech and financial services software sector.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include sourcing and evaluating acquisition targets, conducting due diligence, building financial models (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions), preparing investment memorandums and board materials, coordinating cross-functional due diligence efforts, monitoring market trends, supporting M&A playbook development, managing external advisors, and contributing to post-merger integration initiatives.
• • The Corporate Development team is a high-visibility, strategic unit working closely with the VP of Strategic Development, senior leadership, and cross-functional partners across Finance, IT, Product, Legal, and HR to execute the company’s M&A agenda.
• • This role offers the opportunity to transition from investment banking or private equity into an operating company, build deep expertise in fintech and SaaS M&A, lead end-to-end deal processes, and influence strategic decisions with direct exposure to executive leadership.
