  • • The role involves supporting OpenAI’s annual planning, long-range planning, quarterly board reporting, and monthly financial performance review processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with corporate goals.
  • • The Corporate Finance Manager will work closely with cross-functional partners across G&A functions to develop annual operating budgets and hiring plans, translating business needs into financial frameworks that support scalability and operational efficiency.
  • • A key responsibility includes providing ongoing financial reporting and performing ad hoc analyses for business partners, helping them connect resourcing decisions to measurable business outcomes and performance metrics.
  • • The role requires designing self-serve dashboards and automated reporting systems that transform raw financial and operational data into timely, decision-ready insights for stakeholders across the organization.
  • • Collaboration with Procurement is essential to secure optimal contractual terms and ensure maximum value from vendor relationships, contributing to cost efficiency and strategic sourcing excellence.
  • • Partnering with the Accounting team, the Corporate Finance Manager will uphold the integrity of financial statements and enhance their utility by ensuring accurate, transparent, and compliant financial reporting.
  • • The ideal candidate will thrive in this role by leveraging 7+ years of progressive FP&A or strategic finance experience in high-growth or dynamic environments, with investment banking or consulting background considered a strong plus.
  • • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required, including the ability to independently drive complex issues to resolution, with experience in building compensation models (e.g., equity forecasting) highly valued.
  • • Exemplary interpersonal skills are necessary to clearly articulate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders and senior leadership, fostering alignment and informed decision-making.
  • • A proven track record of managing multiple work streams while consistently meeting deadlines is essential, reflecting the fast-paced and multifaceted nature of OpenAI’s operations.

🎯 Requirements
