- • As a Corporate Governance Paralegal at Airwallex, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s global entity structure remains compliant, well-governed, and positioned to support ambitious expansion plans across over 20 markets, directly contributing to the integrity and scalability of a $8B-valued fintech leader.
- • You will manage the full lifecycle of corporate governance for licensed entities worldwide, including incorporation, restructuring, capital injections, winding down, statutory filings, board and committee meetings, minute and register maintenance, equity administration, and liaison with external providers, regulators, and auditors—ensuring seamless, accurate, and timely governance operations.
- • You will join the Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) team, a collaborative group of legal and risk management experts dedicated to safeguarding Airwallex’s operations, fostering ethical conduct, and navigating the global financial landscape with integrity while providing expert guidance across all business functions.
- • You will work cross-functionally with Corporate Development & Investor Relations, Finance, Tax, People & Talent, and Regulatory Legal, gaining deep exposure to high-stakes, high-visibility governance matters in a fast-paced, global fintech environment.
- • In this role, you will build and own the corporate secretarial function for a high-growth, cross-border organization, developing mastery in multi-jurisdictional compliance, board governance, and entity management while advancing your career through ownership of complex, impactful initiatives that shape the future of global banking.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in company secretarial, corporate governance, or related roles within financial services, fintech, or a regulated industry.
- • Proven track record in supporting boards and senior management in a global or regional corporate structure, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple time zones.
- • Prior experience managing multi-jurisdictional entities and complex group structures, including entity incorporation, restructuring, and statutory compliance across different legal regimes.
- • Strong knowledge of corporate governance frameworks, directors' duties, and regulatory compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise board materials and interface effectively with directors, regulators, and cross-functional stakeholders.
