- • Serve as the first point of technical support for a globally distributed workforce, resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues within established SLAs.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve endpoint issues on both macOS and Windows devices for fully remote employees, including hardware failures, software conflicts, networking problems, and peripheral connectivity.
- • Administer core SaaS platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom, managing user provisioning, license allocation, group permissions, and access controls.
- • Own the end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding process, including procurement, shipping, and setup of hardware; creation and deprovisioning of digital accounts and access permissions.
- • Configure, monitor, and enforce endpoint compliance using MDM tools such as Intune, Jamf, or Kandji to ensure devices meet corporate security and policy standards.
- • Manage identity and access workflows through Okta or equivalent SSO/IdP platforms, implementing SSO integrations, enforcing MFA policies, and managing group-based access assignments.
- • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all corporate hardware and software assets, tracking devices from procurement through deployment to retirement.
- • Develop and maintain clear, actionable documentation, runbooks, and self-service knowledge base articles to reduce ticket volume and empower employees to resolve common issues independently.
- • Deliver responsive, white-glove IT support across multiple time zones via chat, video calls, and ticketing systems, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- • Collaborate with Security, People Operations, and senior IT teams on company-wide initiatives, security audits, tooling rollouts, and policy updates.
- • Manage the daily IT helpdesk ticket queue, prioritizing and resolving issues efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction metrics.
- • Provide technical guidance and training to non-technical employees on the use of corporate tools, systems, and security protocols.
- • Ensure all IT support activities align with company-wide compliance requirements and data privacy standards, including U.S. privacy rules and India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk, IT support, or corporate IT administrator role, preferably supporting a remote or distributed workforce
- • Hands-on experience troubleshooting macOS and Windows endpoints, including hardware, software, networking, and peripheral issues
- • Working knowledge of SaaS administration across platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and similar collaboration tools
- • Experience with identity and access management platforms (Okta, JumpCloud, Azure AD/Entra ID, or equivalent), including SSO, MFA, and group-based provisioning
- • Familiarity with MDM/endpoint management tools such as Jamf, Intune, Kandji, or equivalent
- • Experience with ticketing and ITSM platforms (Jira Service Management, Freshservice, Zendesk, or similar)
