- • Lead the development and continuous evolution of the German TMTT (Mitral and Tricuspid Therapies) marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with the European vision while tailoring approaches to local market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and unmet clinical needs.
- • Identify strategic opportunities to support market growth and competitive differentiation in Germany and establish targeted marketing programs to capture these opportunities.
- • Develop, implement, and measure the impact of the national marketing plan in close collaboration with the Regional TMTT Leadership Team and the European TMTT Marketing team, including campaigns, product launches, and local events.
- • Create and execute a Country Events Strategy to support key strategic pillars, driving participation and impact at major congresses and customer events across Germany.
- • Conduct regular field presence to understand customer and commercial team needs, localize marketing assets, and develop deep expertise in therapy, clinical data, and the competitive landscape.
- • Support customer segmentation and key opinion leader (KOL) management initiatives within the German cardiology community.
- • Ensure consistent collaboration and communication with the Country Marketing Team and broader European TMTT marketing team to share best practices, align messaging, and support regional projects.
- • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical, and Commercial teams on segmentation, KOL engagement pathways, and strategic partnerships to advance product adoption.
- • Forecast product line performance for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development, sales trends, competition, and evolving market dynamics.
- • Assess and interpret market share, pricing, average selling prices (ASPs), and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
- • Apply expert understanding of marketing concepts and principles to drive effective campaign execution and brand positioning in the German healthcare market.
- • Possess strong clinical knowledge of structural heart disease and Edwards’ therapeutic areas, including understanding of purchasing processes and adoption challenges within complex healthcare networks.
- • Maintain strict attention to detail in all marketing deliverables, compliance documentation, and data reporting.
- • Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment with proven project management skills and the ability to deliver results under tight deadlines.
- • Represent leadership on cross-functional projects, working closely with marketing peers, leaders, and upper management to align messaging and achieve business objectives.
- • Interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate critical issues to appropriate management levels.
- • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal relationship skills, and negotiation abilities to drive objective achievement across matrixed teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Economics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field with 8–10 years of experience
- • Considerable experience in a strategic marketing role within the Medical Devices or Healthcare industry
- • Fluent in German and English
