- • The Course Author role at Pennsylvania State University involves revising two key courses—LHR 460: Ethics in the Workplace and HRER 504: Seminar in Employment Relations—for the School of Labor and Employment Relations. This position is critical to ensuring course content remains current, academically rigorous, and aligned with learning objectives for asynchronous delivery.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing asynchronous course materials over a 7-week structure, updating lesson commentaries, syllabi, and readings, designing weekly assessments such as individual essays, group projects, and discussion forums, and creating detailed grading rubrics to measure student learning outcomes.
