- • Build, configure, and design Planning and Consolidation (CPM/EPM) solutions for budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, revenue modeling, and operational reporting.
- • Collaborate with clients to define project objectives, scope, timelines, budgets, and resource plans for CPM/EPM implementations.
- • Work directly with clients to document business requirements, analyze financial models (spreadsheet and non-spreadsheet-based), and translate them into scalable CPM/EPM solutions.
- • Develop dimensions, calculations, KPIs, dashboards, and workflows that enable efficient and scalable planning processes.
- • Configure and support data integrations between CPM/EPM platforms and client systems including ERP, CRM, HCM, and data platforms.
- • Lead requirements workshops, design sessions, testing cycles, and cutover activities for CPM/EPM deployments.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve model performance issues, implementing enhancements and optimizations to improve system efficiency.
- • Deliver end-user training, comprehensive documentation, and ongoing adoption support to ensure successful client implementation.
- • Stay current on product updates and execute upgrades or enhancements to CPM/EPM platforms as needed.
- • Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within existing CPM/EPM solutions.
- • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all project-related inquiries, providing consistent and high-quality customer service.
- • Supervise, mentor, and develop junior consultants and business analysts on CPM/EPM application methodologies and implementation best practices.
- • Travel extensively across Europe to work on-site with clients in various jurisdictions.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Accordion’s finance and technology practitioners to deliver integrated digital solutions aligned with CFO strategic initiatives.
- • Apply connected planning concepts in Anaplan or Pigment, including Supply Chain, Treasury & Liquidity (T&Q), and core FP&A use cases such as driver-based planning and scenario modeling.
- • Translate complex business logic into scalable system designs using strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- • Maintain excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial and technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
- • Demonstrate strong client relationship management, organizational abilities, and prioritization in fast-paced consulting environments.
- • Operate as a self-starter with a strong work ethic, leading by example while contributing hands-on to project execution.
- • Manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously, balancing leadership responsibilities with direct project delivery.
- • Contribute to the growth of Accordion’s European footprint by shaping the London office’s presence and expanding service delivery across the region.
- • Leverage knowledge of the relationship between private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies to deliver targeted value creation solutions.
- • Embrace an entrepreneurial spirit within a flat, dynamic organization while maintaining a focus on exceptional client service and meaningful work.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4-6+ years of proven experience in systems consulting or CPM model development, including multiple full life cycle implementations
- • Hands-on Anaplan or Pigment model-building experience strongly preferred
- • Excellent understanding of multi-dimensional and relational databases
- • Previous experience gathering business requirements and implementing CPM solutions
- • Strong analytical skills with ability to convert complex business logic into scalable system design
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
